Now to the recommendations!
Limited Supply
Hosted by Nik Sharma, it provides a great perspective into both tactics for improving your online business and interviews to highlight how others are operating. We actually think this podcast is great because there's 10 seasons of content and season 1 is still applicable. In the early seasons, they focused more on what Nik and Moiz were observing in the industry. In the later seasons, it has tended to be a lot of tactical advice along side interviews.
Spotify
DTC Pod
The DTC Pod is a must-listen for anyone looking to scale their direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand with actionable insights. Each week, the show dives into in-depth conversations with disruptive DTC leaders and experts, sharing real-world strategies on marketing, funnels, and scaling success. It’s a great resource for learning new strategies or hearing about new tools.
Spotify
Brain Driven Brands
The Brain Driven podcast is a goldmine for tactical e-commerce advice, blending advanced psychology with real-world applications. Host Sarah Levinger takes complex neuromarketing strategies used by powerhouse brands like True Classic and Spotify and breaks them into actionable insights. For instance, one episode might explore 10 psychological pricing strategies backed by research, helping brands maximize conversions and profitability. Whether you're aiming to refine your product positioning or craft irresistible messaging, this podcast offers practical, data-driven tactics to level up your e-commerce game.
Spotify
Business of Fashion
Unlike the other 3 podcast recommendations, the “Business of Fashion” comes from the publication Business of Fashion. They speak to what’s happening the Fashion Houses, and what’s happening in the news around the Fashion industry.
It’s made the list because of the alternative perspective. You may be building a brand outside of the Fashion industry, but it’s interesting to think about the approaches they are taking. You may be able to carry over some of the ideas.
Spotify
My First Million
Not a typical e-commerce podcast, but they have had e-commerce topics on it. Shaan and Sam focus on what works well for a business, what’s trending and other topics around making money. Although it isn’t purely focused on the industry, a lot of the insights do carry over.
Recently they interviewed @dieworkwork from X - they dug into the clothing industry and how to improve your look. Again, not specific to selling clothes but shares a perspective on thinking about quality, brand build and positioning.
